About the Magnetise Group

The Magnetise Group is a marketing technology company dedicated to improving the reach, return and accountability of digital engagement. Its platform enables a suite of products to create and manage advertising, marketing and lead generation campaigns that deliver significant revenue while optimising both response rates and data quality.

Clients include Gumtree, ITV, Maxim, The Daily Express, Channel Five and OK publications, with campaigns being run for telecom and utility providers, consumer brands including Nokia, O2, Starbucks, Hugo Boss and McCain, as well as retailers such as ToysRUs, Littlewoods and BrandAlley.

Peter Gowrie Smith, Managing Director

Peter founded the Magnetise Group in 2007 and under his direction, the Magnetise team have developed the industry's most comprehensive lead generation, management and analysis platform, wrapped in complex security and data protection architecture.

Prior to setting up Magnetise, Peter occupied a number of senior level positions within the industry, including Director of Enterprise at TMN plc, Director of Business Development at DGM plc, Business Development Director and Board Member of EDR plc and a consultancy role at Global Network Enterprise. During his tenure, Peter helped EDR become the UK's largest buyer of B2C email data before selling it to TMN in 2005 for 15 million.

Passionate and informed about the capabilities and potential of online lead generation, prospect relationship management and performance-based marketing, Peter regularly speaks to business, marketing and technology groups to share his knowledge and insights.

Andrew Morgan, Chief Technology Engineer

Andrew is responsible for the technology strategy, architecture management and development of both the core technology platform and the suite of products underpinned by it. Working 'hands on' with his team, Andrew uses his broad base of technology expertise to ensure that Magnetise constantly and consistently leads the field in the provision of the most comprehensive, secure and responsible prospect data management platform.

Starting his career as a software engineer for Sony Research UK, Andrew was then instrumental in the design and development of BBC News Interactive services, firstly as a Technical Developer, then Technical Lead. Andrew has also worked with Morgan Stanley to develop its Fixed Income B2C E-Trading system and roll out over multiple trading desks, as well as being employed by UBS, where he worked with a small team to develop and roll out the international, multi-asset trading system UBS PinPoint across Europe.

Andrew was educated at Cambridge University and has a BA Hons in Computer Science.

Tim Milverton, Technical Director

Prior to co-founding the Magnetise Group in 2007, Tim has built a solid base of online media and technical expertise. His previous positions have included Head of IT at EDR plc, Technical Director at TMN Group plc, and Mechanical Engineer at Ambri Pty Ltd. Tim holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Sydney University.

Kevin Rice, Commercial Director

Kevin has an impressive background in the online lead generation (OLG), display advertising and performance marketing sectors, having previously held Managing Director positions at both EDR and Clash Media. Bringing 15 years experience in the internet sector to Magnetise, along with unparalleled expertise in helping companies grow at the same time as ensuring they derive full value from their product and service offerings
